Hello! Welcome to Aggie Zeta! My name is Victoria Burkett and I am so blessed to be able to introduce myself as the 2024 Zeta Tau Alpha President for the Theta Gamma Chapter! I am extremely honored to be able to serve this chapter that I have called home for many years now. Throughout my time in Zeta, I have always felt loved and accepted, and more importantly, pushed to be a better version of myself. Zeta has instilled in me that “Zeta is Forever,” and I have seen that first hand through my experiences and through my sisters. I hope that every woman embarking on the journey to a new phase of life can discover a place they can truly consider home. Personally, Zeta has been, and will forever be that sanctuary for me

Ever since I was little, joining a sorority was always something I had wanted to experience. Growing up as the youngest of three kids, I got to live and learn through what my siblings had done and when I saw my sister join a sorority and gain a whole new sisterhood, I then knew that I wanted the exact same experience. Coming to A&M, Zeta absolutely exceeded my expectations as a chapter, made up of such a wonderful group of women. I had always heard of the fun events, living in the house, and all of the countless laughs and memories made. Then experiencing it first hand, I understood the wonder and love of Aggie Zeta! This chapter continues to push me to grow. It is a place where I've learned to authentically explore the values dear to my heart and encounter individuals who encourage me to remain steadfast in those values as I strive to become the most authentic version of myself. I will never forget the feeling I had walking into Zeta in the preference round of recruitment. These women saw my potential and  my true values, and made me feel at home… my home away from home, where I could truly be myself. My growth in Zeta can only be credited to each and every member that has been in the Theta Gamma Chapter. These women will always be constant role models, and a source of inspiration. 

Zeta is gratitude, empowerment, sisterhood, and so much more. I never imagined I could undergo such significant growth in four years. I am excited to witness this continued blossoming of our members and our chapter as a whole, and I'm excited to discover what 2024 holds.

I am so proud to be able to be a Zeta. I hope this gives you a glimpse of how we serve, lead, learn and most importantly, how we love, as Zeta Tau Alpha at Texas A&M.
